Wangnan Cao, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Medicine and Health Education, School of Public Health, Peking University. She received her Bachelor degree from Wuhan University of Science and Technology (2010), her Master's degree from Peking University (2013), and her PhD from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (2017). After her PhD, she worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Hong Kong and then a Research Associate at Brown University. Her research focuses on behavioral science and health promotion, with a focus on vulnerable populations such as sexual minorities and the elderly. She has published more than 50 SCI papers, and some of them were published in highly reputable journals such as European Heart Journal, Diabetes Care, International Journal of Epidemiology, and AIDS and Behavior. She serves as Associate Editor of BMC Public Health and BMC Infectious Disease and has reviewed manuscripts for more than 30 international journals.
