Personal profile

Dr. Jing Li is an Assistant Professor, Researcher, and Doctoral Supervisor in the Institute of Child and Adolescent Health, School of Public Health, Peking University. She currently serves as Assistant to the Director. Dr. Li holds a bachelor degree from Jilin University (2012); and a Ph.D. degree from the College of Environmental Sciences and Engineering, Peking University (2017). Dr. Li has been a postdoctoral researcher at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (2017-2021) and and was selected for the 9th Young Elite Scientist Sponsorship Program by the China Association for Science and Technology. Her research primarily focuses on the formation, sources, and control of air pollution and its impacts on human health. Aiming to improve air quality and public health, she uses big data approaches, such as ground monitoring, satellite remote sensing, and machine learning, to investigate the relationship between pollution sources, exposure, and health. She pays special attention to the impacts of environmental factors, such as air pollution and climate change, on child and adolescent health. Dr. Li has published over 50 SCI papers as first or corresponding author in journals such as The Innovation, Nature Communications, ES&T, and JAMA Network Open, with several recognized as ESI Highly Cited Papers. We welcome collaboration with students, scholars, and clinicians from backgrounds in preventive medicine, environmental science, atmospheric science, computer science, and statistics.

Prospective postdoctoral researchers, Ph.D. students, and research assistants are encouraged to contact us.
