心血管和呼吸系统疾病是影响人群健康的主要疾病,其发生与危害和环境污染密切相关。本课题组围绕能量代谢和氧化还原稳态两大机制,探究环境危害暴露(1)如何导致心肺血管损伤和(2)如何加剧心肺血管疾病的风险。
课题一:能量代谢与心肺血管损伤和疾病
能量代谢是维持所有生命活动的基础机制。代谢紊乱可导致心肺血管疾病等众多疾病和不良健康结局的发生与发展。我们致力于研究细胞代谢通路和代谢物水平改变对环境因素(如重金属和新污染物等)致心肺血管系统毒性的调控机制和防治。
课题二:氧化还原应激与心肺血管损伤和疾病
氧化还原稳态是由细胞的抗氧化(抗氧化酶和非酶类抗氧化剂)和促氧化体系(氧自由基和氮自由基)共同精细维持。两大体系失衡将引起氧化应激和还原应激,两者均可造成细胞功能损伤。我们致力于研究环境污染物暴露如何打破氧化还原体系的平衡,导致心肺血管系统氧化和还原损伤。
